Best way to exclude irrelevant information in Linkedin

I've been using the following to end each search in Linkedin to focus on the best search results but noticed of late that this is still bring back Directory pages:

 (inurl:pub OR inurl:in) -intitle:directory

So I’ve changed the formula to:

(inurl:pub OR inurl:in) –inurl:dir

But want to ask the group if there is a better way?

Skye,

If you are searching on Google, yes, as Glen noted recently, -inurl:dir works better.

It seems also that over the last few months Yahoo finds many more relevant profiles (having your target keywords) than Google. Enjoy it while it lasts!

If your search is wide you may also have to exclude blogs, events, jobs, answers, but there's no need to decide on more exclusions before you run your string.
Thanks Irina, Great to see I'm the only one having the issue.
Cheers

Skye,
Another group of key words to try from a search engine would be "Public Profile Powered By". This term is found on linkedin profiles and will eliminate the directory returns.

Thanks, Happy Sourcing!
