Boolean Strings Network

The Internet Sourcing Community

Good day all, I posted this a week or so ago. Though when upon reading it back it may not have made sense, thus I have edited and reposted.

I have had problems recently converting  google search strings results to RSS feeds. I use firefox (& feed sidebar addon for RSS
and have been trying to use icerocket.com and feedbeater.com to convert
mygoogle search results to RSS.
Does anyone else have similar problems? and has anyone a better work round to keep search results coming to desktops
daily?
Thanks all
PB

Are you using Google Alerts to do this? http://www.google.com/alerts

If not, you should check it out. You can create complicated boolean search strings and it will allow you to have these results either emailed to you or included as part of a feed. I've set the alerts up both ways without any issue.

Good Luck!

Kameron, many thanks for your reply. I have indeed used the google alerts though have struggled with the RSS feed as there again seems some config. issues with firefox (my prefered browser) feedbeater was a platform that used to work briliantly though they have paised the service due to funding.

Many thanks again Kameron, much appreciated.
