I need to find a good Boolean string to search for iPhone / iOS developers for Orange County California that does not bring up every guy who has an iPhone or worked as a seller of the iPhone.... Any help?
Hi Brittani -
Here's a string to try on Google:
site:linkedin.com ("Software Engineer"|"Developer") ("iOs Developers * logo"|"iPhone Developers * logo") "location * Orange County, California Area" -inurl:dir -recruiter
You may want to search additional areas such as LA and SD, as well as other groups.
In Linkedin, in People Advanced search. Try this string in Keyword box with 92780 zip code within 50 miles.
((ios * * developer) OR (iphone * * developer)) –(recruiter OR marketing OR marketer OR sales OR sourcer). You should get about 800+ results.
Also, join an iphone development group on Linkedin.
Please try this one over Google Engine..
site:www.linkedin.com (iOS | iPhone | "i Phone" | "i OS") (developer | Programmer | Coder | "Software Engineer") (inurl:pub | inurl:in) -dir -recruiter "california area"
Try this on Bing/Yahoo
((ios * * developer) OR (iphone * * developer)) –(.doc OR .pdf OR txt OR sourcer) AND (Orange County OR California)
I have seen some local profile using the above
Try this on google
(intitle:resume OR inurl:resume OR intitle:CV OR inurl:CV) iPhone|iOS Android (Developer|Programmer) -job -jobs (CA|California) 90001..92101
intitle:resume iPhone iOS Android (Developer|Programmer|"Software engineer") -job -jobs (CA|California) 90001..92101
(intitle:resume OR inurl:resume OR intitle:CV OR inurl:CV) iPhone iOS Android -job -jobs (CA|California) 90001..92101

I'm sure the search is long over, but maybe "cocoa touch" should be on the keyword list? Sure you could get other, more targeted keywords that are relevant -- UIkit/appkit, etc.
That's Awesome Dave.....
