You can add people as either a moderator to monitor the discussions or as a manager to manage the group settings and membership requests.

Our company wants to set up a Linked In Network group of employees and alumni.
Does anyone know if we can have a co-monitor for the group so a couple of people can monitor the group’s activity?

To my knowledge that is not possible. I imagine you want to see how "fresh" the LinkedIn profile is?? The only LI app that will show updates of other people is the Amazon Reading list (which will show updates made by your extended network…
is there a way I can look at someone's profile that is not in my 1st level network and see the last date they "updated their profile?" This person is a 2nd level connection.
