Google Boolean Location Search Help

Hi Everyone,

I would like to search resumes in Google BUT i would like to pull candidates that are local to the Client and within a 25 mile radius. Can someone help me with this boolean?

You might also try adding the phone number area codes to your search string. Using the example below with area codes I know....

(inurl:resume | intitle:resume) keyword keyword title (CA | "california") (415 | 408 | 510) -job -jobs -sample -send -apply

You can insert the zip code range in Google such as the following:

10001..10010

That is how Google handles numeric ranges.

Here's an example:

(inurl:resume | intitle:resume) keyword keyword title (NY | "new york") 10001..10010 -job -jobs -sample -send -apply

Just replace keyword & title with actual keywords & title in the above example.

Or if you want to xray LinkedIN for profiles within a certain zip area - you need to go to the Advanced Search in the search drop down menu box. You will see a link under the zip code box for 'lookup'. When you click that you will find the zip code for the are you want.

Then you need to look how the area is indicated on the profiles- for example:

07082 zip is indicated on LI profiles as "greater new york city area".

Then you include the spelled out area in your xray string like this:

site:linkedin.com keyword keyword title "greater new york city area" (inurl:pub | inurl:in) -intitle:directory

Just replace keywords & title with actual keywords & title-
