Sometime back i came across a new site (Blog )

Sometime back i came across a new site (Blog ) called – Tumblr

Nice name right….

Well its kind of different when i started using the same. Although its been just couple of days since i have got my hands on it. Just to give you a background about this site – Tumblr is a blogging platform that allows users to post text, images, video, links, quotes, and audio to their tumblelog, a short-form blog. Users are able to “follow” other users and see their posts together on their dashboard. Users can like or reblog other blogs on the site. The service emphasizes customizability and ease of use.

Well its features might be common to most of the advanced users, but for a common man / Woman ( with uncommon needs) he / she can post simultaneously on Twitter and Facebook, can also upload pictures. Tumblr makes it effortless to share anything you find or create. Post text, photos, quotes, links, dialogues, audio, video, slideshows, and more.

One can also get rich RSS subscriber analytics with integrated FeedBurner support and ( this is a good one ) Tumblr doesn’t force any ads, banners, or logos into your theme.
