<p>Thanks for the comment. You are right, that conversation goes both ways (just like tracer rounds). Employers and vets need to step it up a notch. I have had veteran buddies ask the famous question: "Hey, man. can you land me a job?" --</p>

<p>Civilians don't "get it," and miss out as a result. Veterans need to find hiring managers that are veterans. These managers know how to harness veterans' skills, attitudes, focus, abilities and goal-orientedness. Of course, there are always vets that don't "get it," too. We referred to them as the 2%. ;=)</p>
