Bonjour Sourcers!

I'm currently building a sourcing strategy and function for GMCR Canada. Inside this objectives, I must provide Sourcing KPIs to measure ourselves. I have few ideas in term of measurement like number of sourcing hires, satisfaction rate of the recruiters or number of sourced candidates in interviews. I would really appreciate few suggestions of professionnals like you guys to make sure I have the best KPIs for my strategy.

Irina already gave me really good answers on that. Every new information is relevant.

Thanks!!

Sebastien

I would be careful with Recruiter satisfaction. That's very subjective. If you're keeping good metrics I think you will uncover more problems with recruiters than you will with sourcers.

1) Establish and SLA that outlines what all sourcers are responsible for, and what all recruiters are responsible. If you don't, recruiters will think they manage the sourcers and they will all be giving different direction to the sourcers. Soon you will have a team of sourcers that all do different parts of the process so there is no good way to compare them with each other.

2) I like to track:

- candidates submitted to recruiter

- candidates accepted by recruiter

- candidates submitted to manager

- candidates accepted by manager

- candidates that interview

- candidates rejected post interview

- candidates that are a fit but don't get the offer (silver medalist)

- hires

Tracking at this level of detail will allow you to uncover recruiters that can't drive the process and close deals. That's critical for ensuring sourced candidates don't get wasted.

Recruiters must give feedback on all candidates, not simply ask for more :).

I hope this helps!

Wow, thanks Jeremy. It's sure helps! I established SLA with recruiters the first month I started at GMCR after I received alot of sourcing mandate for many different type of positions...

These recommandation on KPI will be in my strategy for the complete sourcing function. Thanks alot and I hope to meet you at SourceCon conference next October in Seattle.

Cheers!
