Another "Just for Fun"

My mom asked me to find the title of a movie for her. This is what she remembers about the movie:

A Black man was being sentenced to death by lethal injection, and she believes that in the movie, he was innocent. The phone rings just as they are injecting him. His wife is standing outside of the room watching as they are injecting him. What is the movie?

Good job, Lisa. this one turned out to be a little bit problematic for me, because my mom did not initially remember the fact the wife was watching, so I was trying to find it without that detail at first.
