A friend of mine trains displaced workers and is looking for companies who need or employ people for supply chain management. Typical companies are in distribution, manufacturing, etc in the Kansas City area. There are no fees involved for the company to hire these workers.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to write a string that will produce companies is various sectors without using a SIC code?

Thank you for he help!

Would you happen to already know two or three companies?
"send resume" "kansas city" "supply chain" -jobs

the -jobs will remove many of hte job borads where you can search for jobs, so you decide if you want those or do not want those. With -jobs included inthe search, most of the results are real postings.
Hi Chris,

Here are a few:
GEAR for Sports, Clopay, CEVA Logistics, Mars North America, UPS, FedX, Dillard's Distribution

Thank you for the help!

Hi Kelly,

How about finding the companies even if they are not hiring. In Hoovers, D&B, etc...you would sort by SIC code. I wonder how that can be done in Google? I don't think you can search by SIC codes.

I get a newsletter weekly from http://forums.industryweek.com/. I believe they have lists you can look through.
