You can start your search with LinkedIn / Job board.

First get people who are in your target locations.

Get some market intelligence from them about how many electrical hardware engineers might be in chicago.

Get references if possible.

Now start connecting dots... try and map entire team.

Try calling on extensions.. they should be within a same team?

try to see who's their boss... then find out who all work under him....

Try checking out online network of people you have already tapped... colleagues should be listed.

I'm sure this will get you closer to your targets..

Mac,

Geo specific search via Google or Bing is somewhat difficult (as I've mentioned in responses to other threads in this forum.

Searching within a resume database, on LI, or a site with structure employer/location data is much easier. Take any of the LI x-ray strings presented in other threads and adding "siemens" and "Greater Chicago Area" would work.

Thanks I will do that.

I would use a meta-search engine:  (intitle:resume OR inurl:resume OR intitle:cv OR inurl:cv OR intitle:vitae OR inurl:vitae) Siemens 60601..60827. Just a thought.  Good luck!
