Looking to find some leads in Southern California. Need a Sr. Level Solid Waste Leader for my firm, a consulting engineering firm. I've been googling different scenarios including our competitors and the words "solid waste", "landfill", "waste-to-energy", "integrated waste". Stumbled across a few RFP lists with names of folks but not coming up with the volume I'd like to generate a call list. If anyone works for a consulting engineering firm and has ideas, let me know. Thanks,

Just some "very unofficial thoughts!":

Are there alternative words or titles for "Leader"? Check that out. Work that competitor list, as that's usually most important. Use the Google *, such as: **Leader **"Jacobs Engineering" CA. I would use * engineer or **engineer for companies you KNOW are involved in solid waste. I'm betting that "Leader" is predominantly an engineer, among other things. *waste in the search string might be fruitful. There might be some very specific words used instead of "solid".

Of course use -jobs within the string. Also use 2008 OR 2009, to limit the humungous totals of "hits" that might occur.

Of course use this e-mail string: @jacobs.com leader OR *engineer CA (or california) 2008.

You have to find the exact e-mail convention or terminilogy, as used by company employees. "Jacobs" or most other companies, are in multiple States, hence the use of CA or California in any search string.

Any "solid waste" societies or associations may indeed have "higher-ups", who are 'Leaders", etc, within California companies, who do solid waste. You should try to find a few of these associations. "Important people" are easier to find within most associations. They're prominently displayed!

Good Luck, God knows it's usually tougher, rather than easier!
