Looking for an Electrical Engineer with Commercial Ship Design Experience for a company located in Scottsdale Arizona.
We are looking for a highly motivated Electrical Engineer who is willing to travel and periodically spend time at sea aboard commercial passenger ships or military vessels. You will have a good understanding on how to develop electrical drawings for military vessels and commercial passenger ships.
If you are conversant with Commercial Classification Society Rules for Marine pollution control equipment (LLoyds) would be beneficial. You must have a minimum of two years experience on Auto Cad.
You will be developing system designs and installation requirements for a product that is installed down in the hull of passenger ships.
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science - Electrical Engineering
• Proficient in Auto CAD (latest version)
• Must be able to develop system design and component drawings using AutoCAD
• Commercial Ship Design Experience
• Must be able to specify cable sizes and so panel layouts
• Must be a Professional Engineer Registered and certified is highly desirable but not a deal breaker.
If you are a retired Marine who is an Electrical Engineer and are conversant with Commercial Classification Society Rules for Marine pollution control equipment and currently uses Auto Cad you would be our ideal candidate.
