Hi all,

When using google to x-ray LinkedIn is there a way of performing a postcode and distance search?

site:uk.linkedin.com keyword1 distance from postcode/zipcode

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Cheers in advance

Mark-

In Google, a number range indicates .. (2 dots) between them - you you can use 07100 .. 07200 as a range of zip codes in your string for example:

site:uk.linkedin.com keyword1 zip code..zip code

Just replace "zip code" in your string with actual numbers - can't be letters - must be all numbers

Gary,

Thank you for your reply it is much appreciated.  As I thought I don't think I will be able to x-ray linkedin and incorporate UK postcodes as they generally appear in the following format EC2M 3PE.

Mark - In this case you will probably obtain closer results if you search directly on LinkedIN using the Advanced Search link & using the actual postal area codes. You can still xray, however you will be using an area (such as "London United Kingdom", etc) that you want to target vs actual zip codes in your string.
