Marsha,

Try the following string in Google:

site:linkedin.com "senior accountant" ("industry * law" | "industry * legal") "greater new york city area" (inurl:pub | inurl:in) -intitle:directory

Feel free to play with the key words, etc

Gary
HI Gary,
Thanks for the reply . I see how great you are in responding to all the requests from people.
I am a beginner and starting tt get the hang of this. Appreciate it if you could use the string you suggested for the accountant and give me a string adding key words so I can do this correctly.
Just need to learn how to add it correctly to the string.
Also how can I do a string to search other sites besides linkedin- wow big question
Thanks so much,
Marsha
HI Charles,
Thanks for taking the time. As mentioned I am quite a beginner and somehow have used some strings to locate people on linkedin yesterday.
It would be very helpful if you could make up a job/ title/ location/skills or the like and show me a completed string(s).
I am not sure how to correct;y add this to strings
This would be very helpful. Can you also complete the string on Craigs list? How would I search facebook?
There are also words I don't understand ifor example in anchor
Would love to learn this method of search-at least the basics- any suggestons? Think I need a Tutor:-)
Thanks ,
Marsha
