I just joined the group and would like to take a moment and introduce myself. My name is Doug Cohen and I am an HR Specialist for IneoQuest Technology, a fast growing telecommunications company located in Mansfield, Massachusetts.
I am in the process on recruiting for a Field Services Engineer located in either British Columbia or Calgary, Alberta. This position requires 80% travel, a strong background in networking, video, and IPTV.
Needless to say I am not having much luck in recruiting or writing strings. Can I get help from the group, what might be a good string or suggestions?
When I have sourced in Canada in the past I did direct sourcing through a little research and calling directly.
Also using the area codes as search terms can term up some good results.
"Field Services Engineer" is a rare title it seems as most companies call them something different. I just used engineer with iptv and the following string came up with several. You can network for more names. If you take out the word engineer you will get more results, but of course they may not be current engineers. I also didn't use "current * engineer" in the string which would have given titles of engineers currently to produce more results:
