i have a question in case of the "save to contacs" function at LinkedIn.
A colleague and I, we have the same sort of settings within LinkedIn, but he can't save any contacts.
This is what I see:

Same Search (just searched the Name). We're in the same Group, 3rd person connection.
I have no Idea why I have the opportunity to save her to contact (she blocked it anyway =)) but my colleague does not even have the opportunity.

Lots of things can make this happen - LinkedIn rolls out multiple versions of its system to subsets of its users all the time to run tests.
One thing that does come to mind which your colleague might have some control over - what does his Contacts screen look like? He did enroll in the Contacts system, right?
