Looking for some good search strings via google for those who put on their electronic profiles that they are seeking a job.

It is best to do "I am seeking..." or "I am interested in..."

Do I need the three trailing periods or not and do those yield strong searches?

The three trailing periods will, generally speaking, do nothing at all. Safe (and best) to leave them out.
