The Internet Sourcing Community

Hello,

I came across a difficult question (not really aware of this).

"How to source African American developers and bring them through process?"

Is there anyone who can help on this?

Your help will be highly appreciated.

Thanks,

Maria.

As with any search, try to think of what is a likely indicator that someone meets your search requirements.

Looking for online communities for your target demographic is a great way to start.

Thanks Dave, appreciate your reply.

I am considering groups, forums for this but also looking for other creative ways. Any other idea?

The NBMBAA, National Black MBA Association is a good resource. Also particpants or board memebers of some Historically Black civil rights organziations like National Urban League?

Maria,

Not sure if you ultimate found what you were looking for, but there's a webinar next week that covers this topic in depth:

http://sourcingcertification.com/webinar-sourcing-for-diversity/

have you tried Twitter #diversitytech #blackwomencode #code2014
try a variety of the Diversity Technology Groups: African Americans in silicon valley
Black Tech World.

Look on twitter you will find many groups.
