Questions: are multiple asterisks needed? How many words will Google fill in-between using one asterisk?
Yes, multiple asterisks make a difference; try for yourself. Asterisk is sometimes one word and sometimes a few words. How many is right is a matter of trial and error; you get used to it after a while.
