X-Raying #LinkedIn for Years of Experience

That's a good way Irina...

However, I would really go for a open search as I would doubt that not many people would have added skills in their profile. We may miss out on a huge chunk.

But if we have to search it - this is the best way available.

Great tip Irina - Thanks for sharing!!

Sarang,

Thanks for the comment. Yes, of course, we'll miss quite a few people (but those whom we find will be on target). Skills is a relatively new feature on LinkedIn.

We could also try to search for something like "I have 7..12 years of experience in Java OR j2ee OR C++" etc.

Simple and quick way. Thanks :)

Thanks for sharing Irina! While the skills feature is not widely used yet, I'm more interested in the ability to quickly zone on in great matches. No string will catch everyone.
