They may be talking about what they ate for lunch but...
* They may have put keywords in their bio
** Use
tweepsearch or Google to find them. Here's a sample search on Google:
site:twitter.com "bio * designer" "location * CA"
* They may have entered themselves to one of the twitter directories such as
wefollow or
twellow with the right tags
* They may belong to a
twibe or
use a #hashtag
* They may have listed their twitter ID on a webpage outside of twitter where they list their professional skills
** Check resumes, LinkedIn profiles for that. Here is a sample search on Google (it has just under 200 results):
"websites * * * twitter " java OR J2EE -intitle:directory site:www.linkedin.com inurl:in OR inurl:pub
* If you know their email, you can find their twitter ID (ask me how)
* Following or retweeting may work better than emailing as
the first step to connect.
Of course, you will eventually need to get their resume and talk on the phone with them.
Your thoughts?
