We restricted the length on purpose to try to discourage searching behavior that can lead to incorrect results. Since people can sometimes put multiple variations on company names, you should avoid full "proper" names and strip down the name to the key words.
You will find more people under "Agrium" than "Agrium Advanced Technologies" for sure. If someone abbreviates it to "tech" you are going to miss them.
My last comment is confusing because I used angle brackets and it removed them thinking they were html tags...
the part where I say: "As far as entering companies, we have noticed that sometimes it is not clear you have to press enter once you type in the company name in the field in order to "enable" it for the search." That should make much more sense
Hi Marney: Thanks for the feedback. We don't have any plans to charge for use of this service, so feel free to use it with that in mind.
As far as entering companies, we have noticed that sometimes it is not clear you have to press once you type in the company name in the field in order to "enable" it for the search. If you try the search again make sure the company name appears in RED letters and is bold. If you click the company and it turns "un-bold" and gray, then that term or company is dis-abled and will not be used in the search when you execute a new search.
Let me know if that fixes it, otherwise I can check if this is a problem or Bug.
