See if you can identify the following images. Each image is a real scenario. The first 2 were photos my mom took and asked me to find out what the name of of the objects were. Hi Chris,
Being a Botany student I directly used blue florets in image search and blue color.

I realized it is one of the cornflower. I then conducted random search on cornflower and thought it was Syrian cornflower , which is incorrect. (I should have searched a little more).As you mentioned it is a Perennial cornflower.

Hi Chris,

Yes, it's perinneal cornflower. Centaurea montana. However it looks very similar to Syrian cornflower Centaurea cyanoides which is annual.
