Hi Rob,

You haven't specified any location so I have formed two general strings that would help to exact profiles from linkedin.

site:linkedin.com inurl:pub | inurl:in "current * tax" | "past * tax " | "current * taxation" | "past * taxation" | "current * * tax" | "past * * tax " | "current * * taxation" | "past * * taxation" -inurl:events
(This string will give you professionals with current or past experience in tax/taxation)

site:linkedin.com inurl:pub | inurl:in "tax technician" | "Chartered Tax Professional" | "Chartered Tax Adviser" | "Chartered Institute of Taxation" | "Associate of the Irish Taxation Institute" | "Association Of Taxation Technicians" -inurl:events
(I have used few tax qualifications here, however you can add other tax qualifications and their abbreviations to widen your search)

Hope this helps!

Kind Regards,
Medhavi
Hi Medhavi

Thanks so much for your help. I have tried both strings and they produce some outstanding results. When I put in a specific location like London or United Kingdom I get quite a few false results (i.e. people that used to be in these locations. Do you know how I search on current location in an x-ray search?

Many thanks

Rob
My pleasure Rob!

IF I am not wrong London is your desired location.

Try these strings:
site:linkedin.com inurl:pub | inurl:in "London United Kingdom" "current * tax" | "past * tax " | "current * taxation" | "past * taxation" | "current * * tax" | "past * * tax " | "current * * taxation" | "past * * taxation" -inurl:events -dir

site:linkedin.com inurl:pub | inurl:in "London United Kingdom" "tax technician" | "Chartered Tax Professional" | "Chartered Tax Adviser" | "Chartered Institute of Taxation" | "Associate of the Irish Taxation Institute" | "Association Of Taxation Technicians" -inurl:events -dir

To get profiles from areas nearby London, you can replace "London United Kingdom" by "Redhill United Kingdom" / "Twickenham United Kingdom" / "Guildford United Kingdom" / "Croydon United Kingdom" / "Tonbridge United Kingdom" / "Bromley United Kingdom" / "Harrow United Kingdom" / "Guildford United Kingdom" / "Southall United Kingdom" / "slough United Kingdom" etc.

Regards,
Medhavi
