Greetings All.
Can someone send me the link or explain who you find a full LinkedIn Profile using the ID number from the partial profile? Thought I had it saved on my computer, then it crashed and I can't find my notes.
Can any of you help?
Thanks
Kimberly

Kimberly, I don't think there's commonly known or published publicly way to find anyone's name based on their LI ID. For the 3rd level connections, LinkedIn has opened up their profiles. For out of network, most run Google searches to find those people.
Irina is correct. There used to be a way to do this using the member ID and sending a note to a friend while changing out the member ID number in the URL. LinkedIn has since "patched over" this security hole so it no longer works.

There might be a different security hole now. :)
Would your security solutiom involve a customlized LinkedIn Search Engine?
No, it's simpler. You need to play with some LinkedIn URLs, specifically, finding authors who have published something (even if they haven't). I can't tell you more. They are watching.
If it has to do with taking the ID and pasting it to the end of this URL: https://www.linkedin.com/today/author/
That does nothing

Would you be willing to share? Please? :-) gregm@expedia.com
