Trying to filter LinkedIn Answers to show ONLY 'Open' discussions

LinkedIn is (in)famous for not providing means to access the site's content externally i.e. without having to log in. For example, wouldn't it be nice to access the job listings in various Groups, via say RSS? Yes, of course it would.

I'ld like to create an email alert of posts made to LI Answers. I thought I could do a Google search, grab the URL, then use it in an alert.

But I discovered that the G-search is still showing entries that are Closed.

The following sample search shows what I mean.

fish sticks site:www.linkedin.com intitle:"LinkedIn Answers" -intext:closed

Any suggestions?

I am not sure what is going on with the Google search.
