Hi everyone!
Yesterday I was doing some research on a company with LinkedIn and I found something really odd. Supposedly the NOT operator denies whatever is "next" in the boolean expressions.
In the Company field I put the name of the company and I got 1,215 results.
Then, I added the "oracle" keyword (without double quotes) in the Keywords field. It showed me 46 results.
Finally I thought that if I try...
NOT oracle
... in the same Keywords field I would get 1,169 results (the result of substracting 46 from 1,125). Oddly it showed me ZERO results!
I also checked several profiles and many of them don't mention the word Oracle or reference to the Oracle company in their profiles. In fact, most of them are incomplete.
Am I doing anything wrong? Or is it a common behaviour since LinkedIn's latest rollout?
Thanks in advance!
Leonardo
