Contact Capture is a free tool from Broadlook that helps to "capture" contact information. It picks any highlighted text on your screen (from a web page or a document) and parses the contact information that is there. It can parse multiple contacts at a time. It can then export results into a table format such as Excel. I use Contact Capture on LinkedIn pages with search results, lists of conference attendees, company directories, "about" pages and even on pages with Google results.

(eGrabber http://www.egrabber.com/ has a paid tool that is called ListGrabber that does the same more accurately and has some extended functionality. A friend has recently bought it and is happy with the tool.)

I use Contact Capture all the time, every day and highly recommend it. You can download it here: Contact Capture

Good review Irina. Having used nearly all the products from Egrabber(resume grabber , Egrabber.. etc) and Broadlook (eclipse, diver and others) both of them have great tools and works great.
I am waiting for the NEW resumefinder from egrabber which should be really good product for all recruiters/sourcers
We've used Contact Capture in the past but just like anything else, you get what you pay for. It's free and we weren't impressed with the amount of clean up necessary to get the info in the right fields. If you are good with a computer it's faster to highlight and then copy/paste the info to where you need it.
Amanda,

While ListGrabber may do a better job on capturing, cleaning up data collected by Contact Capture is not hard if you use MS Excel or a similar tool. You would need to use sorting and filtering functions in Excel.
If you would like to give me a page or two (URL's) where you would want to collect the contacts, I can explain how.
