Mini-Contest #3: LinkedIn Profiles with 1 Connection

How many people on LinkedIn are in the San Francisco Bay Area, have the keywords Java and C++ in their profile and have only one LinkedIn connection? Bonus: answer the same question for people with zero connections.

Still trying to figure out the 0 connections thing.

Site search on Yahoo gave me 35 relevant profiles. However' when I tried Andrea's string it did give 39 profiles.

Checked the profiles once again for differences. The contest asks for people on LinkedIn whereas HiFi Logistics seems to be a company profile with services info as well as lacks academics on the profile.

I came across 39 profiles with c++ and java in sanfrancisco bay area with 1 connection and none with zero connection

Thanks! 39 is a little too high. Also, there are some people with 0 connections.

Just came across someone with 0 connections via a search on Google. I noticed that their public profile (the one indexed by Google) didn't actually have any reference to "Connections". As with some of the previous searches that have been done here if I added site:linkedin.com that profile doesn't show up.

And if anyone is interested the search string for Google - "sydney area" "brand manager" "lion nathan" "industry * Food & Beverages"

What is interesting is that the link to Amanda's profile is actually under the link to the company she works for.

Anyway, just sharing cause I thought it was interesting :)
