Boolean Strings Network

The Internet Sourcing Community

If you use advanced Google search strings, you may have been suspected of sending “automated queries” and asked to fill out “captchas”. Have you had this experience? It looks like it happens more lately. I have posted about it on Technorati (happy to have joined them as a writer!) and included a rather weird comment I got from a developer. I hope to bring visibility to the issue so that Google takes notice and makes the detection code human-friendly. I would appreciate comments and re-tweets.

Totally agree, Irina - they need to make it 'human friendly'!!!! Thanks for bringing it out in the open!
yes, I'm getting these messages after searching for a while. Thanks for your work in this area.
