Just did a few brief google searches to try to figure out what you were talking about. :) Seems like globalization/localization would be core keywords? "business development" AND localization turned up a lot of job ads seeking senior BD people for the industry, looks like people with that skillset are in pretty high demand.

LISA is the standards org for this industry, right? If you're looking for keywords, try running one of those word cloud analysis things on your company / client website, or LISA.org (just tried this with tocloud.com, for instance), which will help you pop out top relevant keywords.

HI Dave

Thanks for this and that all sounds wonderful and yes LISA is the standards org for the industry but i am really not sure what you mean by "cloud analysis things" can you elaborate any?

Thanks a mill

There are a number of tools available to that analyze and provide visual representation of the frequency of words used in text and the relation between those words and surrounding words. I've heard them called "word clouds" more than anything else. If you look at the site I mentioned, tocloud.com, which may not be the best tool freely available but came up among the initial google results when I was looking for one, you'll see pretty clearly what I mean.

If you don't know enough about an industry/company/job/etc to come up with good key words to search on, this can be a useful way to quickly generate those terms, or get a better idea of which ones to use.

Thanks Dave I wil give it a shot

You need to screen about seniority.... This will help to build...

("business development manager" OR "business development executive" OR "sales manager" OR "sales executive" OR "account manager" OR "account executive" OR BDM OR "new business manager" OR "head of sales"......)

Try adding other titles like head etc to make more variations.

Then build a solid list of target companies and put them with this search string
("business development manager" OR "business development executive" OR "sales manager" OR "sales executive" OR "account manager" OR "account executive" OR BDM OR "new business manager" OR "head of sales"......) AND (company A OR company B....... OR industry keywords)
