Boolean Strings Network

The Internet Sourcing Community

Hi Gary and fellow stringers:

I am finding that all searches on google are being blocked more and more often; I clear my temporary files, searches, etc. before proceeding but it is becoming more and more difficult.  ResumeFinder uses google as the basis of their searches and it is making it almost useless.  Any solutions out there?

Best regards to all for a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

No fix that I know of - While I still use Google, I've been using BING quite a bit more with good results! I would suggest getting familiar w/BINGS' syntax-

Hi Sheldon

You said " ResumeFinder uses google as the basis of their searches"

that is not entirely true.

ResumeFinder has scripts for Bing & Yahoo too.

The searches that are blocked are the ones that have advanced operators - Google has become strict. Avoid them and use the others.
