Can you x-ray “education” when searching LinkedIn?

Hello – I’m new to the group and I’m not sure if this question was asked before (I looked but did not see it). Anyway, I recruit in the pharmaceutical industry and find LinkedIn very helpful. I would love being able to search by education – specifically for MD (medical doctor).

I’ve tried but the results are random (or is that the best I can expect?) . . . any suggestions?

My general search string that works goes something like this:

site:linkedin.com (inurl:in OR inurl:pub) -intitle:directory -inurl:dir -inurl:jobs “greater new york area” physician “clinical pharmacologist” diabetes

Thanks Much!

Diane

opps . ..  the above listed string does not work: try this one:

site:linkedin.com (inurl:in OR inurl:pub) -intitle:directory -inurl:dir -inurl:jobs “clinical research” diabetes “phase 1” physician

Sorry about that . . . I'm still playing around with this one!
