Finding No of employees in a specific country for a global firm

Can anyone assist? I need to find out the no. of people Goldman Sachs employs in South Africa and what its profit before tax is for the operation in South Africa.

I have the worldwide figures but cannot find detail for South Africa

I have tried:

"Goldman Sachs employs ** in South Africa"

"Goldman Sachs" "number of employees" OR "no. of employees" ("South Africa" OR SA)

site:gs.com (employees OR employ OR staff) "south africa"

Any other ideas?

Please use this over google engine...

site:za.linkedin.com goldman sachs (inurl:pub | inurl:in) -dir

You will get a approx figure of employees as this shows the previous employees profiles also of Goldman Sachs...

As most employee might have not updated or have Linkedin Profiles..

In this case.. One may not get any accurate numbers.. besides., recently Goldman Sachs.. laid off about 2000 employeee..

These are very specific details and no organization would prefer to share. I would suggest if you could find some link in Goldman Sachs, South Africa. It may work for you.

From Martin Lee: "Personally I think a Boolean string will be ok as a starting point but you will have to dig deep into websites to get this information. You could include filetype:pdf | filetype:ppt | filetype:doc in your search or point searches at blogs where hopefully someone else has done the hard work of finding this out !"
