I am looking for manager names in Seattle and/or California. I am specifically looking for current IT managers from a Disney subsidiary "wdpro" (Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Online).
Below is the search string I have, but it is not yileding the exact results I need. Any suggestions on what I need to tweak? Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
site:linkedin.com (manager | director | vp | CIO | CTO) "Seattle Area" ("technology") "current" AROUND(5) disney wdpro" (inurl:in | inurl:pub) -inurl:jobs -inurl:dir -inurl:in-us

Try the following in Google:
site:linkedin.com (~manager | ~director | ~vp | ~CIO | ~CTO) "information technology" ("at wdpro" | "Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Online" ("location * greater Seattle Area" | "location * greater los angeles") "people you know"
I left it open, however you can use "current * manager" etc in front of each title (but don't exceed 32 words in your string as that's google's limit.

Thank you Gary! I was not aware of Google's word limit. What does Google determine a word? Is it similar to Twitter based on characters, or actual words?
I also don't understand the signifigance of the ~ symbol in the string?
Kevin - I believe Google limits it's strings to 32 words vs characters.
The tilde (~) symbol indicates synonyms of the word that is immediately after it. Although Google is constantly changing & it may not be needed any longer - but when I ran the string it gave me add'l results due to synonyms-
