So this morning I came across something that no longer works on LinkedIn. You used to be able to share a private profile (if you were not already connected) and it would give the person you shared with the first and last name and some other information. Unfortunately, with the new changes this no longer works. Is anyone else experiencing this? Any solutions?

i just discovered the same thing AND it looks like some other layout changes were made - or at least I just discovered them on the basic accounts
i just tried it again - using what is to me a new format on LI and found the 'share' button hiding under a blue button - it worked and - interestingly enough - at least for now - ALL the hidden names under the same search have been revealed to me - I don't know if this happened in the past as it's a new experience for me - anyway - maybe it stopped working while LI was making some of these changes
BTW - the issue seems to still affect the talent finder account - I'll need to revisit this tomorrow and try again - I see you already new about the changes - i just caught on tonight
Very true, it seems to affect the "talent finder account". Now i can't find the search page where i would to input the search "keyword".
Hi Donna
The function is still there, it's just in a different place. You will see a big block that says "Send a Message". Click on the down arrow and a new dialog box will open. You'll see the "Share" option there. It works exactly as it always has.
Hope this helps
The new block you refer to is not in the 'Talent Finder' version (at least not my account) It is on the free version.
