Boolean Strings Network

The Internet Sourcing Community

Hi, I need help with finding someones email addess or the email formay for a company.  The string I use ie: = (email | mailto | contact) * companyname.com is not giving me the results I need. I use this string with Google.

Are there some better search strings I can use?

I can really use the help.

Thanks in advance,

George

Would you mind sharing the name of the company?

Hi Irina, it's not for a specific company. In general I wanted to know about other methods that may be better.

Hi George,

These are the strings that I use:

"email * * companyname.com"

"email me at * * companyname.com"

"contact me at * * companyname.com"

"email * * companyname.com" -info -office -your -mail -contact -privacy -support

"* at * dot *" site:companyname.com

OR you can search for this person on Jigsaw.com OR Netprospex.com

Thanks Joe I appreciate it.

This always works well:

"email * * companyname.com"    (Use the quotes & replace companyname with name of company you want to find format for(

When the email patterns in the results are consistent (first.last@company.com) , etc - that's the format. Then you can test the email format address at: http://mailtester.com

Gary

"*@domain.com"  will give you email addresses.  If you get a person, you can discern the format "joe.blow@xyz.com" or "jblow@xyz.com" or "Joe@xyz.com"

If the format is not straightforward, I use:

To:  joe.blow@xyz.com

Bcc: jblow@xyz.com;j.blow@xyz.com;joe@xyz.com;blow@xyz.com

90% probability of a hit.

Happy hunting!

Hi David,

If the "Bcc email address" is the correct one then would they also see the incorrect "To email address"?

Thanks

Thanks Irina! I thought so.... That may not be the most professional way of emailing someone.
