Search method needed

For our rookie recruiters looking to narrow down desk specialties, I have two questions I'd like to KNOW HOW TO ANSWER.
1. In the field of medical devices (or sustainability/environment), where is there growth and hiring?
2. In those areas of growth and hiring in each of the above two specialties, which are NOT well-covered already by recruiters?

How would I search the web to answer these two questions effectively?
Thank you very much.

The Mirror World

As I increasingly use the new wonders available on the web, interact with several new people, communicate through a multitude of channels, seek solutions, share thoughts; I suddenly seem to have created an almost virtual world around myself...only that it is all still very real. It is like going to the other side of the mirror and exploring the world.
Quite interesting!

Just for fun

See if you can identify the following images. Each image is a real scenario. The first 2 were photos my mom took and asked me to find out what the name of of the objects were. The third photo is a photo of a figurine I had when I was a child, and since I have grown up, I have never been able to figure out what it was called, and nobody I ever described it to ever seemed to know what I was talking about. I thought about it today, and tried searching it and found the answer. Have… Continue

Seeking Inside Sales Representative

Hi:

I have been searching for an inside sales representative in Framingham, MA. Seems like a no brainer, but the drive is really a busy one and need some candidate flow. They must have been deeply involved with compliance of HIPPA, Privacy, ID Verification, red tags or breach. I have looked at some candidates who fit the bill but the drive was too far. Pharmacuetical, banking, financial industries or even government and healthcare are good backgrounds to come from. Not sure the… Continue

The Power of Networking

Why don’t more people Network? It boggles my mind, especially in this type of economy - it is not who applies to the job first, BUT who you know and who knows who. If a company has a job opening, do you think they will post it first OR ask for referrals and see who may know someone? Networking is simple. It is staying in touch. It is asking questions to the experts and answering questions. Most people I have found and was able to hire for my openings, were not from my first… Continue
