You need to watch your syntax. The following string will work in GOOGLE replacing "companyname" with an actual name:
site:linkedin.com (inurl:in OR inurl:pub) -intitle:directory -inurl:dir -inurl:jobs "sales engineer" OR "presales engineer" OR "pre sales engineer" OR "pre-sales engineer" OR "SE" IP Protocol "companyname"
NOTE: The 'NEAR' command does not work in Google; your OR's have to be capitalized;
